They Have Their Exits
by Airey Neave.

Airey Neave's first hand account of his successful escape from Colditz, and when he met the Nazis again - at Nuremburg.

Captured in France in 1940, Airey Neave wasted no time in attempting to escape. He escaped from prison in Poland and attempted to reach the Russian border. Perhaps fortunately he was caught by the Germans, as few British officers who made it to Russia in the early part of the war were heard of again.

After interrogation by the Gestapo, he was sent to the most feared prisoner of war camp in Germany - Colditz. Considered escape proof, nevertheless Airey Neave escaped again - he was the first British officer to do a home run and got back to England via Switzerland, Vichy France and then Gibraltar.

At the end of the war, Neave was asked to take part in the Nuremburg trials and this fascinating account concludes They Have Their Exits.

Airey Neave's books have been republished by Pen and Sword books.
